Our Visionary Founder
Bishop Thomas Lucas was the pastor of White Oak Pentecostal Holiness Church, located in Wilson, North Carolina. Bishop Lucas was also the owner and operator of Lucas Plumbing Company in the City of Wilson since 1984 and had over twenty-four years of service as a firefighter in the Wilson County area. Therefore, hard work was something he had become accustomed to. However, Founder Lucas still knew there was more of his community that he wanted to reach.

Bishop Thomas Lucas
In 2009, he was given the vision of "Integrity Unlimited," an organization that would invest, strengthen and build in the lives of our youth, their families and our community. Founder Lucas believed in inclusive community building where health and spiritual equity can be obtained. Founder Lucas was married to Pastor Sherry Lucas and of their union they have four children and 8 grandchildren. His entire family knew how much he loved people and had a desire to do more, however the torch has been passed on. Bishop Lucas passed away November 6, 2015, however this vision is still alive and is being carried out. To quote his favorite saying "To God Be The Glory."
Co-Founder
Pastor Sherry Lucas, MA
Pastor Sherry Lucas is the dedicated and visionary co-founder of Integrity Unlimited CDC. A lifelong educator and servant leader, Pastor Lucas is a proud graduate of Ralph L. Fike High School (Class of 1974) and holds a degree in Mathematics from Atlantic Christian College, now Barton College. She devoted 28 years to teaching high school mathematics at Beddingfield High School, where she impacted generations of students with her commitment to academic excellence.
Following her retirement from teaching, Pastor Lucas continued her journey of service by earning a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty University in 2020. Her deep passion for youth and community uplift led her, alongside her late husband, Bishop Thomas Lucas, to establish Integrity Unlimited CDC in 2009. Their shared vision was to meet the needs of underserved youth in Wilson through academic enrichment and community empowerment.
Under Pastor Lucas’s leadership, the organization has grown to offer year-round academic programs for school-aged children, a community playground (built in 2014), outdoor fitness equipment (added in 2018), and thriving community gardens that continue to nourish local families. Pastor Lucas remains a tireless advocate for education, health, and opportunity, impressing upon the organization the need for faith, compassion, and purpose.
